Associate Business Analyst

Business Analyst / Product Owner

Experience: 4-6 Years

Role Summary

Support business analysis activities, document requirements, work with stakeholders, and contribute to AI/ML‑driven product initiatives. Collaborate with product owners, engineering, and data teams to ensure clear, actionable user stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Document business goals, objectives, and impact statements.
• Conduct current‑state, future‑state, and gap analysis.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, SRS, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Partner with product owners, engineering, and AI/ML teams to clarify requirements.
• Manage traceability matrices and support UAT.
• Support process flows, DFDs, use cases, and documentation.

Mandatory Skills (with expected experience)

• Requirements documentation (BRD/FRD/SRS) - 3+ years
• User stories & acceptance criteria - 2-3 years
• Agile (Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming) - 2-3 years
• Data analysis fundamentals, SQL basics - 1-2 years
• Exposure to AI/ML requirements & prompt engineering - 1 year

Nice to Have

• Experience in Banking / Insurance / Logistics
• Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle
• Tools: JIRA, ADO, Lucidchart / Miro

Behavioral Skills

• Good attitude, quick learner, communication & problem‑solving skills
