Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer

Experience: 6 -10 Years

Location: Bangalore

Notice period: Should be immediate/Max 30 days

Primary Skills

• API Testing: Hands-on experience in executing the test cases for RESTful APIs.
• POSTMAN: Strong proficiency in using POSTMAN for API testing.
• Automation Tools (any): Working knowledge of one or more test automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Cucumber BDD Framework.

Secondary Skills

• Load Testing: Exposure to tools like JMeter, K6 or similar for Load testing of APIs or web applications.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage.
• Test and Maintain reusable API test cases and scripts.
• Identify, log, and track defects; work with the development team to resolve issues.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using test management tools such as JIRA
