Job Title: Accounts Executive (Shipping Background)

Experience: 3–5 Years (Preferably in Shipping / Logistics Industry)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Accounts Executive with experience in the shipping or logistics industry to support daily accounting operations, billing processes, and financial documentation related to shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and process invoices, debit notes, and credit notes related to freight and logistics services.

•Maintain and update accounts receivable and payable records.

•Coordinate with the operations and documentation team for shipment-related billing.

•Reconcile vendor statements, shipping line invoices, and transport bills.

•Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.

•Track payments from clients and follow up for outstanding dues.

•Maintain proper records of shipping documents and financial transactions.

•Assist senior accounts staff in monthly closing and reporting.

•Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Required Skills

•Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

•Familiarity with shipping/logistics billing processes.

•Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Tally or similar).

•Good communication and coordination skills.

•Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

•B.Com / M.Com / Accounts-related qualification preferred.

Preferred Candidate

•Candidate with prior experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics companies will be preferred.
