Job description

• Job Description: SDN NFV 5G Trainer
• Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training sessions on telecom concepts, SDN, NFV, cloud infrastructure, network automation, and related technologies.

• Develop and update training materials, including lectures, hands-on lab exercises, case studies, and project work.

• Ensure the practical application of concepts through lab exercises and real-time simulations.

• Assess and evaluate student progress through quizzes, assignments, and feedback.

• Provide mentorship to students, helping them with troubleshooting and project development.

• Collaborate with the program management team to ensure the curriculum is up to date with industry standards.

• Facilitate real-world telecom problem-solving through project work and capstone projects.

• Conduct review sessions, group discussions, and assessments to gauge student performance.

• Provide ongoing feedback to students and help them improve their technical skills.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong expertise in telecom engineering. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in telecom engineering, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in SDN/NFV, 5G Core Networks, and cloud platforms.

• Proven experience with cloud and core network deliveries (must provide proof of past projects/deliverables).

• Strong teaching and presentation skills, with experience in delivering technical content to groups of students or professionals.

• In-depth knowledge of 5G core architecture, SDN/NFV, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and network automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and telecom protocols.

• Mandatory certifications: Cisco, AWS, or RedHat.

• Experience in developing educational content, including creating hands-on labs and assignments.

• Ability to break down complex topics into understandable and engaging content for students at different skill levels.

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a diverse student group.
• Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecom industry, with at least 2+ years of experience in SDN/NFV, 5G core networks, and cloud platforms (must provide proof of project deliveries).
• At least 3–5 years of experience in training or mentoring in a technical environment, preferably in telecom or related domains.
