SAP Basis Consultant

Are you a seasoned SAP Basis professional with a passion for system stability, performance optimization, and cloud migration We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant/Administrator to join our dynamic team and lead critical SAP landscape initiatives across global clients.

Responsibilities

*Lead end-to-end SAP system installations and configurations, including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, GRC, Business Objects, OpenText, Cloud Connectors, and more.

*Perform SAP system upgrades (Kernel, Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, S/4HANA major version upgrades).

*Manage SAP HANA and traditional DB administration (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, ASE).

*Lead and execute SAP migrations – OS/DB and Cloud (AWS/Azure) using tools like SUM/DMO.

*Implement and support high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions.

*Monitor system performance, perform tuning, and handle complex troubleshooting.

*Configure and maintain Transport Management System (TMS).

*Implement and manage SAP Security and Authorizations (Basis level).

*Leverage SAP Landscape Virtualization Management (LVM) for efficient system management.

*Administer and optimize SAP Solution Manager (System Monitoring, CHARM, Early Watch Reports).

*Support automation initiatives and improve daily health checks, monitoring, and system alerts.

*Collaborate with cross-functional teams in greenfield and brownfield SAP implementations.

*Lead SAP rollouts, patch management, and cloud migrations with minimal downtime.

Technical Environment:

*SAP Modules: S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Business Objects, Solution Manager, GRC, OpenText, ICC

*Databases: SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL Server, ASE

*Tools: SUM, SWPM, DMO, SPAM/SAINT, SAPCAR, SNOTE, BRTOOLS

*OS Platforms: Linux, Windows, AIX, HP-UX

*Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP

*Monitoring: Solution Manager, CCMS, ST03/ST02, OS-level tools

Certifications (Preferred):

*SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA

*SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP ASE/SAP HANA) with SAP NetWeaver

*ITIL Foundation Certified (optional but beneficial)

Soft Skills & Work Style:

*Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

*Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

*Agile & DevOps experience

*Leadership experience managing Basis teams and vendors

*Flexibility to work in 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST shift and provide on-call/weekend support as needed
