Job Description: Solution Architecture & Tech Stack Consultant (Fintech, India)

Overview

We are seeking an expert consultant to guide and architect the technology vision for a NBFC fintech platform in India. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in solution architecture, tech stack selection, advanced AI, and API integration, with strong experience around API-led design and building a sustained technology advantage as a moat.

Key Responsibilities

1.Solution Architecture:

• Define, design, and document end-to-end platform architecture for a fintech product offering by our client.

• Design a vertically integrated, API-first technology structure that is modular, scalable, and supports rapid market evolution.

• Lead blueprinting of data flows, integration patterns, and security frameworks tailored for the Indian regulatory and business context.

2.Tech Stack Selection:

• Evaluate and recommend modern tech stacks suited for advanced AI enablement and high-throughput API integrations.

• Advise on best-in-class cloud, data, and DevOps infrastructure to support AI-driven features and rapid scaling.

3.AI Strategy & Integration:

• Identify opportunities to embed advanced AI and machine learning across underwriting, risk, personalization, and operational automation.

• Work with engineering and product teams to prioritize and operationalize AI use cases, ensuring robust data flows and API accessibility for downstream consumption.

4.Consultancy & Advisory:

• Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders – including founders, business leads, and development teams – to shape technical direction aligned with product and regulatory requirements.

• Support 'build vs. buy' decisions for core modules, especially around AI capabilities and critical APIs.

5.Compliance & Security:

• Guide platform design for compliance with Indian fintech regulations and security standards (data privacy, AML/KYC, etc.).

6.Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:

• Produce high-quality architecture artifacts, technical documentation, and decision logs to enable smooth handoff to internal teams.

Ideal Profile

• Proven exposure as a Solution Architect or Consultant in the BFSI/ fintech sector, preferably in India, with expertise in digital lending or similar business models.

• Strong track record of architecting API-first, AI-enabled technology platforms that deliver real business advantage.

• Deep familiarity with AI/ML workflows (NLP, risk models, fraud detection, customer intelligence) and their production deployment in a regulated fintech environment.

• • B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
