What You'll Do
As the Accounts & Finance Manager, you'll play a central role in managing the financial operations of both Kingston Educational Institute and Kingston General Hospital.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and fund-flow/cash-flow reports.
- Monitoring cost centres, ensuring compliance under GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Trust regulations (12A/80G) and ROC
- Managing vendor payments, purchase bills, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinating with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Supervising payroll, reimbursements, and fund allocations across departments.
- Providing management with data-driven financial insights, dashboards, and variance reports.
- Ensuring effective financial controls, transparency, and reporting discipline.
- Having a good understanding of technology leads to a better understanding of financial IT systems and ERPs
- Leading and motivating a small team of 8-10 people across all SBUs
- Having good people skills to collaborate with other departments for cross-departmental teamwork
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Finance / Accounting / Commerce.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Accounts, Finance, or Audit — preferably in an educational or healthcare organization.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP (mandatory).
- Expertise in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, MIS).
- Experience with vendor management and budgetary control.
- Familiarity with Health Accounting and hospital billing systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other analytics tools will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
