Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Head of Design based in Bengaluru. The Head of Design will oversee all aspects of design, from leading teams in design management to developing branding, product, and visual design solutions. The role involves creating cohesive and innovative designs that represent the Novelty Wealth brand while collaborating closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to shape impactful user experiences and design strategies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Management, including leading design teams and overseeing design processes
• Strong expertise in Visual Design and Product Design for digital platforms
• Experience with Branding and the creation of a cohesive brand identity
• Knowledge of Interior Design is a plus for aligning physical branding components, if applicable
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across departments
• A portfolio showcasing diverse design projects and innovative solutions
• Master's degree in Design or a related field

What we're looking for

• 6–10+ years of design experience with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.

Bonus: experience with fintech, data visualization, or AI interface design.

• A strong eye for typography, hierarchy, and minimalism.
• Comfort with high-velocity startup environments — ability to balance polish with speed.
