About the Role

At Dop & Bud, you will work closely with experienced professionals on challenging and high-impact assignments across financial reporting, audit, and advisory. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world finance, going beyond traditional compliance to strategic problem-solving and analytical execution.

You'll contribute directly to projects involving:

• Preparation and review of financial statements for DRHP filings under Ind AS
• Internal and statutory audits for diverse industries
• Accounting and consolidation for complex business combination structures
• Transaction advisory and financial due diligence
• Bookkeeping and management reporting for US and domestic clients
• FP&A — financial analysis, budgeting, and performance tracking

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing financials, working papers, and schedules for audits and DRHP projects
• Support financial modeling, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Conduct research on accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and transaction structures
• Work with teams to implement accounting systems and process improvements
• Coordinate with clients to obtain data and resolve queries efficiently
• Prepare management decks, dashboards, and reports for internal and external use

Skills & Attributes we value

• Sound understanding of accounting fundamentals (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and exposure to PowerPoint or reporting tools
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving orientation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Curiosity to learn new domains — from IPO financials to cross-border transactions
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask across engagements

Ideal Background

• CA Article Assistants (1st or 2nd year)
• CA Dropouts / Semi-qualified CAs with 0–3 years of experience in audit, finance, or accounting
• Graduates (B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA-Finance) with strong analytical and accounting aptitude
