Job description

Job description:

Experience: 5-10 years

  • Drafting of all process drawings including but not limited to PFD, UFD, P&ID's, Block flow diagrams, etc.
  • Pre-bid drawing estimates.
  • Expertise in Process design, software, safety studies.
  • Ability to prepare design proposals CTR's.
  • Good interdisciplinary skills and communication.
  • Coordinating process drafting work by other designers.
  • Ensuring drawing quality and maintaining quality records.
  • Filing and maintaining drawings and drawing register.
  • Experience of internal audits will be an added advantage.

Qualifications: Essential skills/experience

  • Relevant Experience in the field of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical process drawing drafting/design.
  • Preference will be given for candidates with experience in ISO 9001 certified Middle East engineering consultancy companies.
  • Experience in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Unisim is a must.
  • Independently able to produce process drawings using company or client drawing standards.
  • Experience in preparing line lists, equipment list, drawing and document lists.
  • Good working knowledge of manual drawing conversion tools (raster or vector) and editing in required software.
  • Familiarity with all process related engineering activities.
  • Trained in Process Simulation software applications like Aspen Plus, HTRI, UniSim
  • Knowledge about the development of process datasheet of column, vessel, pump, instrument
  • Possess good knowledge safety meetings such as HAZOP etc
