Fundraising Consultant

The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) wants to hire a full-time Consultant to help it raise funds. Compensation will not be a constraint for the right candidate. The job will be based in Delhi and require regular interaction with senior people in the organization. ADR is a non-political, non-partisan organization and does not work for any political party. Rather it works for citizens and voters. Its recent PIL on Electoral Bonds was very successful. ADR is open to new initiatives on fund raising, as well as the well-known ways of approaching CSR funds HNIs and crowd funding. ADR has been in operation for 25 years now, and has managed successfully without a full time fund raising team. But perhaps times have changed.

The ideal candidate would believe in the cause that ADR works for. This cause is to improve elections and democracy with a major focus on raising voter awareness, but only using facts and data. Such a person would also be motivated to work for the overall cause of making India a better governed nation for the benefit of its people. He or she would ideally have a successful track record of fund raising for nonprofits. ADR will provide support, and the candidate would also quickly familiarize himself or herself with all the past efforts on fund raising within ADR. We would also require discretion and non-disclosure from the ideal candidate.
