About the Company: The MYP & DP English Teacher is responsible for providing a stimulating learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students in the International Baccalaureate (IB). The teacher will deliver engaging and rigorous lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for the English.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
• Design and implement MYP&DP English curriculum in alignment with IB standards.
• Develop and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students.

• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Create and administer formative and summative assessments.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student progress.

• Classroom Management:
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.

• Professional Development:
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Stay current with educational best practices and IB developments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and resources.

• Communication:
• Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
• Engage in regular collaboration with the IB Coordinator and other faculty members.

• Extracurricular Involvement:
• Support and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
• Mentor students and contribute to their holistic development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Teaching certification/licensure for the relevant grade level.
• Experience teaching in the IB Middle Years & DP Programme preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MYP&DP philosophy, framework, and assessment criteria.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
