Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bhubaneswar for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and healthcare professionals, and identifying opportunities to expand market reach. The individual will oversee sales operations in the assigned territory, manage a team of sales representatives, and contribute to planning marketing and promotional strategies. Regular reporting on performance and effective collaboration with relevant departments will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven record of meeting sales targets
• Effective client relationship management and ability to communicate with healthcare professionals
• Team leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring sales teams
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and market trends
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus
• Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is desirable
