What You Will Do
The LXP Configuration Lead will report directly to the Technical Product Owner and will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Degreed Learning Experience Platform (LXP), which supports the overall HR and skills-based learning strategy. This role will require hands-on technical configuration and administration of Degreed LXP, as well as integration with other learning platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors LMS and LinkedIn Learning. The Degreed LXP Configuration Lead will collaborate closely with the Technical Product Owner on business system analysis, technical design, platform architecture, and governance. The ideal candidate will continuously evaluate and integrate the latest platform features, maintain a capability view, and foster strong stakeholder relationships to deliver top-tier customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure technology as per business requirements.
- Be accountable for all tasks and facets related to support of Learning technology, integrated solutions, and peripheral technologies on a global scale
- Partner with teams for requirements collection, impact analysis, portfolio prioritization, engineer technical change management approvals, and report out to business partners
- Guide external partnerships with vendor organizations to influence the product roadmaps
- Handle operational responsibilities for issue resolution, incident management, service requests, and improvements fulfillment in collaboration with product/squads for LXP and HR Systems-related integrated solutions at global and regional levels
- Collaborate with global/regional product owners, providing technical direction on a global level
- Partner across business stakeholders to develop long-term product roadmaps
- Partner and deliver product service packs and upgrades in collaboration with internal and third-party vendor business partners
- Coordinate operational and project timelines, issues, and risks based on global program critical initiatives and goals
- Collaborate and implement standards covering Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid Project methodologies
Required Qualifications
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Degreed or other LXP administration (360 learning, Cornerstone learning) and configuration
- Strong working knowledge of integrated solutions to HR Systems, Learning Management Systems, etc.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and learning experience platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Moodle, Canvas) and other digital platforms
- Familiarity with skills-based learning
- Strong IT background with a consistent record of delivering results, digital skills, interdependent partnering skills, communication as well as critical thinking skills, creative and flexible problem solver, and process focus
- Strong project management, coordination, and effort estimation for project objectives skills
- Agile development experience, SDLC methodology, and risk management including security
- Ability to succeed in a global, matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact strategically and confidently with internal partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes
- Consistent track record of delivering projects with ambitious timelines and sprints; can drive solutions quickly and efficiently with high value
- Strong experience crafting technical solutions for business problems; understands both business processes and technical solutions
- Previous experience delivering Enterprise solutions
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- LinkedIn learning Admin is good to have.
- Strong working knowledge of integrated solutions to Data Hubs and Quality systems
- Partnering/leading with SaaS vendors
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Process understanding in the Human Resources domain
- Experience with data and analytics; large-scale enterprise data, APIs, and reporting solutions (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
- Experience working in an end-to-end team solution with sophisticated integrations
