Hiring: Accountant Executive – Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) | Bhopal

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join the Cyber Security Incident Response Team under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Location: Bhopal

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years (MANDATORY)

Employment Type: Contract (Up to 5 years, performance-based extension)

Key Requirement (Experience Focused)

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Accountant

Strong experience in financial record management, budgeting, and reporting

Experience in handling invoices, expense tracking, and financial transactions

Practical exposure to accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar systems)

Experience in audit support, compliance, and financial documentation

Ability to analyze costs and prepare financial reports independently

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial records related to incident response activities
• Track and analyze incident-related costs (forensics, legal, remediation, etc.)
• Support budgeting and monitor financial performance
• Prepare reports, statements, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with vendors and manage billing/contracts
• Ensure compliance and support audit processes

Qualification

• Graduation in Finance / Taxation / Commerce or related field
