The Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Executive to join our high-performing digital marketing team! In this role, you will directly supporting business growth by elevating our digital brand and LinkedIn presence, creating and scheduling engaging content to promote our portfolio of global cyber security events. You'll work with the wider marketing team to support event campaigns, increase brand awareness, and drive audience engagement on LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and execution of social media strategies for the QG Media brand
• Creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content for LinkedIn
• Creating eye-catching graphics and short-form videos to enhance social media content
• Writing compelling copy that reflects our brand tone of voice and drives audience engagement
• Tracking performance and sharing actionable insights to optimize campaigns
• Collaborating closely with design, marketing, and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time and on brand
• Staying up to date with social media trends and identifying new opportunities to grow reach and engagement

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing within a B2B environment, ideally across events-driven technology sectors
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a marketing platform and its best practices
• Proven ability to create engaging social media content, including copywriting, graphic design, and short-form video production
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and design (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop)
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for tone, detail, and brand alignment
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track performance and translate insights into action
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills, able to balance projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach
