Associate Allied Chemicals is a distributor of fragrance and flavour and cosmetic ingredients. As we expand our presence, we are seeking a creative and strategic Content and Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, editing, and managing high-quality content across multiple channels to support brand awareness, customer engagement, and organisational communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute content strategies for digital and print platforms, including websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, press releases, and internal communications.
· Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather insights and craft compelling content stories that highlight impact, innovation, and success.
- Write, edit, and proofread clear, compelling, and accurate content tailored to various audiences.
· Manage social media channels, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to audience interactions to grow and nurture online communities.
- Collaborate with design team and subject matter experts to produce cohesive and engaging multimedia content.
- Manage editorial calendars and content pipelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in crafting key messages, speeches, and presentations for management team.
- Monitor content performance through analytics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
· Experience and passion about fragrance industry is an added bonus
· 2–5 years of experience in content creation, communications, or a related role.
· Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
· Proven ability to translate complex topics into clear, audience-appropriate messages.
· Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), social media platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
· Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
· Knowledge of internal communications or employer branding.
