The Role :
We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Data Science to join our team in Jodhpur. This isn't just a "coding" job; you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-accuracy predictive systems for the Stock Market. You will sit at the intersection of software engineering and quantitative analysis, ensuring our models are not just theoretically sound, but production-ready and robust.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Model Development : Design and build robust Machine Learning models in Python specifically for stock price prediction and market trend analysis.
- End-to-End Accuracy : Own the full lifecycle of a model from rigorous backtesting against historical data to managing real-time deployment for live market execution.
- System Engineering : Write clean, scalable, and efficient code to ensure our financial systems handle high-frequency data with zero lag.
- Data Integrity : Collaborate on data pipelines to ensure the "ground truth" data feeding your models is accurate and reliable.
What We're Looking For :
- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Finance.
- Technical Proficiency : 1-3 years of professional experience with Python and its DS ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Financial Acumen : A solid understanding of Stock Market dynamics. You should know your way around technical indicators, market liquidity, and order books.
- The "Accuracy" Mindset : Experience in validating models to minimize risk. You understand that in finance, a 1% error can be the difference between success and failure.
- Location : Must be willing to work on-site at our Jodhpur office.
