About the Role :

Ionixx Technologies is building a next-generation product for the Indian NBFC segment, featuring dynamic field configuration, dynamic workflow engines, and multi-loan-product support. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in lending operations, NBFC regulatory frameworks, and digital lending platforms to drive the product vision from a domain standpoint.

Leveraging our existing experience developing and operating the Ufin NBFC platform, this role will bridge domain knowledge with product engineering to build a market-leading, configurable LOS product.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct deep-dive analysis of NBFC lending workflows across loan products (personal loans, business loans, LAP, gold loans, microfinance, vehicle finance) and map end-to-end origination processes from lead capture to disbursement.

- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing NBFC solutions in the Indian market (including Ufin) and translate findings into product requirements for the new dynamic NBFC platform.

- Define and document functional requirements for dynamic field configuration, rule-based workflow engines, multi-product loan lifecycle management, and credit decisioning integrations.

- Work closely with RBI/NHB regulatory guidelines to ensure the LOS platform supports compliance requirements including KYC/CKYC, CERSAI, bureau integrations (CIBIL, Experian, CRIF), and digital lending norms (DLG framework).

- Collaborate with UX designers and engineering teams to create user stories, wireframes, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready backlogs.

- Map third-party integration requirements : payment gateways (NACH, eMandate), eSign/eStamp, Account Aggregator (AA) framework, GST verification, PAN/Aadhaar validation, and bureau pull APIs.

- Benchmark competitor LOS platforms (Nucleus FinnOne, Newgen OmniFlow, LendFoundry, CloudBankin, etc.) and document feature-gap analysis.

- Conduct stakeholder workshops with NBFC operations teams to gather requirements and validate product-market fit for different NBFC segments (small, mid-size, large).

- Define data models for configurable loan products, fee structures, interest calculation methods (flat, reducing, hybrid), and repayment schedules.

- Identify and define AI/ML adoption opportunities across the loan origination lifecycle to drastically reduce Turn Around Time (TAT) including AI-powered document parsing (OCR + NLP for KYC/income documents), automated credit decisioning models, intelligent lead scoring and prioritisation, and predictive risk assessment.

- Design requirements for AI-driven workflow automation : auto-population of application fields from uploaded documents, smart routing of applications based on risk profile, automated deviation detection, and real-time fraud scoring at the point of origination.

- Benchmark AI capabilities in competing LOS platforms and define a phased AI adoption roadmap (rule-based automation ? ML-assisted decisioning ? fully autonomous straight-through processing) to achieve sub-30-minute TAT for pre-approved segments.

- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define training data requirements, model evaluation criteria, and human-in-the-loop override workflows for AI-assisted underwriting decisions.

Required Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in BFSI / NBFC / Digital Lending / LOS domain.

- Hands-on experience working with at least one Loan Origination System or Loan Management System (FinnOne, LendFoundry, OmniFlow, or similar).

- Strong understanding of NBFC lending operations : credit underwriting, KYC processes, bureau integrations, disbursement workflows, and collections.

- Familiarity with RBI guidelines for NBFCs, digital lending regulations, and Account Aggregator ecosystem.

- Proficiency in requirements documentation : BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flow diagrams (BPMN), and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq).

- Experience with API specification documentation (REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI) for third-party integrations.

- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and Qualifications :

- Prior experience building or working on multi-tenant / configurable SaaS lending platforms.

- Domain knowledge of multiple NBFC loan products : LAP, gold loans, microfinance (JLG/SHG), vehicle finance, MSME loans.

- Understanding of India Stack (Aadhaar, UPI, DigiLocker, AA framework) and Open Credit Enablement Network (OCEN).

- Experience with workflow automation tools or rule engines (Camunda, Drools, or similar).

- Exposure to AI/ML use cases in lending : document OCR/NLP, credit scoring models, chatbot-assisted origination, or straight-through processing (STP) implementations.

- IIBA (CBAP/CCBA) or equivalent certification is a We Offer :
