Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in occupational health and safety, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in industrial hygiene practices to prevent workplace-related illnesses and injuries (Mandatory skill).
• Proven ability in conducting risk assessment and management to minimize workplace hazards (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in ergonomics assessment for the improvement of workplace design and employee comfort.
• Knowledge of environmental health regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Understanding of toxicology and its implications in occupational health scenarios.
• Skills in workplace exposure assessment to identify potential health risks and exposure levels.
• Competence in conducting health surveillance for the detection and prevention of occupational health issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine health assessments and provide medical consultations for employees.
• Implement occupational health policies and programs to promote a safe workplace.
• Analyze workplace environments and practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Develop and coordinate industrial hygiene programs to monitor and control workplace hazards.
• Provide expert advice on risk assessments and the management of workplace health risks.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving occupational health.
• Maintain accurate records of health assessments and interventions for auditing and improvement purposes.
• Deliver training and workshops to educate staff about health and safety practices.
