CSA – Career Counsellor
Purpose of Role
To guide and support students in making informed academic and career decisions by providing structured counselling, career awareness programs, and higher education guidance aligned with students' interests, abilities, and future aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
Career Guidance
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students (Middle & Senior School).
- Administer aptitude tests and career interest assessments.
- Guide students in subject selection aligned with career goals.
- Provide updated information on career pathways, professional courses, and emerging fields.
Higher Education & Admission Support
- Assist students with college/university selection and application processes.
- Guide students in preparing SOPs, resumes, portfolios, and application documents.
- Provide information on entrance exams, scholarships, and admission requirements.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.
Student Development & Workshops
- Organize career fairs, university visits, and guest lectures.
- Conduct workshops on goal setting, decision-making, time management, and career planning.
- Support students in academic planning and transition readiness.
