Job Description:

Excel Global School, a Cambridge CAIE institution in Thiruvattar, seeks a passionate Primary School English Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a love for English and develop foundational literacy skills in young learners, aligning with the inquiry-based Cambridge Primary programme. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to become confident communicators, readers, and writers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging English lessons based on the Cambridge CAIE Primary curriculum.
• Develop and utilise age-appropriate resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Foster students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening through interactive methods.
• Implement an inquiry-based approach to promote critical thinking and intellectual engagement.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Provide differentiated instruction to support individual student learning needs.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Uphold the school's mission and commitment to Cambridge CAIE best practices.
• Adhere to all school policies, including child safeguarding.
