Role Summary :
Work under the supervision of a Senior Lead to design, develop, and support ERP/CRM (Workday) applications. Responsible for end-to-end delivery including requirement analysis, development, deployment, client interaction, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Development & Design :
- Analyze requirements/user stories and map to design (LLD)
- Develop, configure, and test ERP/CRM (Workday) solutions independently
- Reuse/improve existing components and suggest optimal technical solutions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Perform peer code reviews and suggest improvements
Testing & Quality :
- Conduct unit testing with >95% test coverage
- Perform defect RCA, track trends, and improve quality
- Troubleshoot performance and production issues
Deployment & Support :
- Act as SPOC for build/deployment issues
- Handle production fixes and post-deployment support
- Manage client environments, installations, and releases
Client Interaction :
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements
- Present design solutions and provide functional guidance
- Support end users and resolve functional/configuration issues
Workday-Specific Responsibilities :
- Support Workday HCM modules and integrations
- Handle semi-annual upgrades and deploy new features
- Manage security, EIBs, and data loads
- Create test scripts and perform testing during releases
Process Improvement & Innovation :
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities
- Contribute to case studies, reusable assets, and knowledge sharing
- Participate in hackathons and internal initiatives
Team & Mentorship :
- Mentor junior developers and support onboarding
- Participate in technical screening (A2/A3 hiring)
- Provide feedback and manage team deliverables
