QMS Candidate ProfileKey Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain QMS as per ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirementsManage incoming, in-process, and final inspection of sheet metal stamping and welded componentsConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for internal and customer complaintsHandle customer quality communication, audits, and 8D reportingPrepare and manage internal, customer, and certification auditsSupport MRM, document control, and QMS awareness/training programsEnsure compliance with welding standards (WPS, PQR) and inspection proceduresLead and guide quality engineers, inspectors, and operatorsMaintain NCR tracking, audit readiness, and quality system disciplineDrive continuous improvement and supplier/customer quality initiatives

Required Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of sheet metal welding (MIG/MAG, TIG, Spot, Projection) and press shop operationsGood understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and material specificationsKnowledge of measuring instruments and inspection techniquesStrong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skillsExperience in MSIL T-1 VSA audit / MACE T-2 VSA audit and Green Supplier initiativesStrong knowledge of IATF 16949 and Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA)Good communication and customer handling skillsExperience in audit preparation and quality system implementation

Preferred Qualifications:
Lead Auditor ISO 9001 or Internal Auditor IATF 16949Exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001Experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environmentDiploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

Experience:- 5 to 7 years in sheet metal Industries.
