Job descriptionRole Purpose The role is responsible for end-to-end Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of Data Center infrastructure, ensuring all systems are safe, compliant, integrated, and performance-ready prior to client handover. The incumbent will lead commissioning strategy, execution, stakeholder coordination, and final acceptance for mission-critical facilities. Key Responsibilities T&C Leadership & Strategy Develop and own the overall Testing & Commissioning strategy for data center projects Prepare commissioning plans, test scripts, procedures, and schedules aligned with design intent and client standards Lead pre-commissioning, cold commissioning, hot commissioning, IST, and performance testing Systems & Integration Commission critical DC systems including: Electrical: HT/LT, UPS, DG, STS, PDUs Mechanical: Chillers, CRAH/CRAC, cooling plants BMS / IBMS Fire Detection & Suppression Lead Integrated Systems Testing (IST) including failure scenarios and redundancy validation (Tier compliance) Compliance & Quality Ensure adherence to Uptime Institute / TIA / ASHRAE / NFPA / IEC / IEEE standards Validate OEM requirements, statutory approvals, and safety compliance Identify gaps, risks, and non-conformities; drive closure with construction and vendor teams Stakeholder & Vendor Management Act as the primary T&C interface with clients, consultants, OEMs, and contractors Coordinate multi-vendor testing activities and manage dependencies Support client audits, design reviews, and final acceptance testing Documentation & Handover Review and approve test reports, as-built documentation, O&M manuals Support smooth client handover, training, and operational readiness Ensure commissioning records are audit-ready and traceable Key Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in Data Center Testing & Commissioning Hands-on experience with mission-critical infrastructure Deep understanding of redundancy, reliability, and failure-mode testing Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills Ability to manage high-pressure commissioning windows and critical milestones Educational Qualification B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / related engineering discipline Commissioning or Data Center certifications (preferred, not mandatory)
