Lead AI Engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions, working closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to translate complex business problems into innovative AI-powered products.

You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models, with a particular focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and impactful for our users and customers. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing user experiences, driving business growth, and establishing our company as a leader in AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models, including LLMs and Agentic AI systems, to address critical business challenges and improve user experiences.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.

- Architect and implement scalable and robust MLOps pipelines using tools like AWS SageMaker to streamline model training, evaluation, and deployment processes.

- Mentor and guide junior AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

- Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning algorithms and techniques, leveraging Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn, to optimize model performance and accuracy.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure their reliability, accuracy, and adherence to ethical AI principles.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and technology, proactively identifying opportunities to incorporate new techniques and tools into our AI development efforts.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, including experience with LLMs and Agentic AI concepts.

- Proven ability to build and manage MLOps pipelines using tools such as AWS SageMaker.

- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, as well as machine learning libraries like Scikit-Learn.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
