Job description
    • Responsibilities:
    • Leading digital transformation projects within the organization, focusing on industrial automation and control systems.
    • Design and develop applications using Ignition Vision and Perspective modules.
    • Create intuitive HMIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions for plant operations.
    • Develop reusable components, templates, scripts and functions for scalable deployment.
    • Configure alarms, trends, and historian modules.
    • Interface with PLCs and industrial devices using OPC UA.
    • Work with protocols like Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet etc.
    • Ensure seamless data flow from shop floor to IT systems.
    • Develop and optimize queries in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
    • Design database schemas for MES/SCADA applications.
    • Perform data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.
    • Integrate Ignition with enterprise systems (ERP/business applications/third-party systems).
    • Troubleshoot applications, databases, and connectivity issues.
    • Ensure high system availability and performance.
    • Perform upgrades and version control along with regional team.
    • Requirements:
    • 3-4 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
    • Proficient in industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus.
    • Familiarity with MES platforms and their integration with ERP systems.
    • Strong background in data analytics and the use of related tools and techniques.
    • Experience working with Ignition software for SCADA and industrial applications.
    • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
    • Solid understanding of database management, including MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
