Role Overview

Utilities segment is one of the largest segments for Esri globally. In India, most of the electric distribution companies deploy Esri technology as part of erstwhile APDRP and now RDSS program. Many city gas distribution companies and large gas utilities like GAIL, IGL, GGL etc. are users of Esri Technology. Oil & Gas companies like Oil, ONGC, Indraprastha Gas, GAIL, Maharashtra Natural Gas limited and many more use our technology. Airtel and Jio are also key customers in the Telecommunication Domain. Apart from Esri ArcGIS, we also use Schneider Electric’s ArcFM tools. New Utility Network introduced by Esri will drive utilities in helping them achieve their strategic goals. We are looking for an experienced presales specialist who can help us in driving Esri solutions in the Utility Vertical. The candidate needs to be individually driven, passionate professional to help us grow our success in this market. This opportunity requires someone with strong understanding and deployment experience specifically in the area of Geospatial Technology/Spatial Analytics and providing a broader vision with ROIs to senior stakeholders in the utilities segment.

Job roles and responsibilities:

•Understand Customer and Market Needs of Utilities segments.

• Design and Create Custom Solution as per requirements for utilities.

• Design and Present Solution Architecture based on customer needs.

• Execute, Deliver and Demonstrate PoC based on Customer Needs.

• Work as Consultant / Advisor to customer organizations and help them in driving the vision.

• Work closely with Sales and Presales in technical business development activities, with a strong focus on closing deals, and to develop pursuit strategies.

• Effectively communicate complex issues, verbally and in writing, to internal and external audiences: this may include presenting and responding to questions in public forums.

• Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops.

• Prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with business requirements.

Desired skillset:

•Experience in ESRI ArcGIS and ArcFM and ArcGIS Pro & Utility Network Basics.

• Domain experience on the Utility data models for Electric, Gas, Water and Telecom

• Experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcFM,

• ArcFM Fiber Manager, ArcFM Designer, knowledge of GIS data formats and handling of

• Spatial data using FME, ArcPy, Model builder and ESRI Field App

• Working Experience on OIL and GAS Industry and PODS data model and understanding on ArcGIS UPDM and Pipeline Referencing tools will be having added advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and affinity to solve problems individually or collaboratively as a team.

• Experience in solution architecture, design, and deployment, RFP response, Compliance

• Building and Approach Notes - Content Creation Industry wise

• Experience in presenting all aspects of Integrated partner solutions to key decision makers at the executive level and explain it in non-technical terms to businesspeople.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Minimum 15 years of Solution Conceptualization experience working in Geospatial Technology.

• Excellent presentation skills - Presenting Geospatial enterprise solution to customers.

• Ability to multitask and meeting deadlines in the given time frame.

• Good communication skills.

• Experience in implementing GIS/ Location Analytics (Esri or Other) based solutions in Utilities Segment

• Understanding of new technology areas like ArcGIS Pro /Utility Network/ArcFM Editor XI/ArcFM Designer ArcGIS Enterprise Concepts and Utility Data Models.

• Hands-on experience on GIS Software is essential and expertise with utility domain is required.
