Job description
Position: Finance Associate / Finance Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for a Finance Profile position. This role will involve supporting the finance team with accounting tasks, administrative work, and data management using tools like Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com degree and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Finance Support:
  • Prepare and process accounting entries in compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Manage accounts payable
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, record-keeping, and document management.
  • Coordinate with other departments and maintain correspondence for financial matters.
  • Organize and maintain financial records and databases.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
  • Use Microsoft Excel to create and manage financial data, track transactions, and generate reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained for auditing purposes.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in a finance or administrative role is a plus but not required.
