Retail Trainer - Footwear

We are looking for a Retail Trainer - Footwear to handle the training needs of our offline retail team using various methodologies, techniques and interactive activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute orientation programs for retail teams
• Conduct onboarding training sessions for new hires
• Assign mentors and coaches to new sales team members
• Observe the customer journey and identify training needs for each touch point
• Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client cases
• Train retail team on product, service soft skills & KPIs in-store & in class room settings
• Apply various sales training techniques (e.g. gamification, case studies and group activities)
• Maintain updated records of training curriculum and material
• Design training calendar in discussion with the retail ops team

Desired Attributes:

• 2-4 yrs work experience as a Retail Trainer, Product Trainer, Sales Trainer or similar role
• Experience in retail industry preferably in sportswear
• Open to travel and visit the retail stores, as needed
• Ability to manage the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities and using e-learning platforms
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales targets
• BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field
• Additional certification in training will be a plus
