Technical Trainer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Trainer at CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY in Mohali district. The Technical Trainer will be responsible for conducting technical training sessions, developing training materials, and facilitating communication between technical teams and trainees.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced DSA Trainer & DBMS Trainer & JAVA(Full stack in Java, OOPs in JAVA) Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems/JAVA. Respectively, their practical applications, and the ability to impart this knowledge effectively to learners. The trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging and hands-on training sessions to students or professionals, ensuring they gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises on database management systems.
• Update course content regularly to align with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Conduct interactive training sessions on topics such as DBMS (SQL, database design, normalization, indexing, data modeling, and database security) JAVA (Java core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js) and DSA (arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, sorting, searching, and algorithmic complexity).
• Address queries and provide mentorship to learners during the course.
• Create and evaluate quizzes, assignments, and assessments to measure learners' understanding.
• Offer constructive feedback and guidance to improve learner performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in technologies, tools, and practices.
• Assist learners in solving real-world database-related problems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in database management systems and related technologies/ NOS.
• DBMS: Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and tools like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. Familiarity with concepts like database optimization, backup and recovery, and data warehousing.
• Full Stack Java: Proficiency in Java core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js), and database integration, OOPS in Java: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and their application in Java.
• Familiarity with concepts like database optimization, backup and recovery, and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in teaching or training is an advantage.
