Job Title: Video Concept Strategist (Production Team)

Job Summary:

Chandigarh University is looking for a creative and strategic Video Concept Strategist to strengthen the ideation process and enhance the engagement quotient of video content. This role will focus on developing compelling concepts, storytelling frameworks, and content strategies that align with the university's branding and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative video concepts and storytelling strategies for branding, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with production, editing, and marketing teams to translate ideas into engaging visual content.
• Create scripts, storyboards, and content outlines aligned with brand messaging.
• Research trends, audience behavior, and competitor content to drive high-engagement video ideas.
• Ensure all content reflects strong narrative structure, emotional appeal, and audience relevance.
• Work closely with the production team during shoots to maintain concept integrity and execution quality.
• Optimize content ideas for multiple platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and digital campaigns.
• Continuously analyze content performance and refine strategies to improve reach, engagement, and impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, Film Studies, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in content strategy, video ideation, or creative direction.
• Strong expertise in storytelling, scripting, and concept development.
• Understanding of digital content trends, social media algorithms, and audience psychology.
• Ability to think creatively while aligning with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with video production teams and creative agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in education, ed-tech, or branding industry.
• Knowledge of video production workflows and editing basics.
• Exposure to campaign planning and integrated marketing strategies.
