We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler specializing inScan-to-BIMworkflows. You will be responsible for transforming complex point cloud data into high-accuracy 3D models usingAutodesk ReCapandRevit, ensuring seamless integration between real-world site conditions and proposed engineering design.
Key Responsibilities:
.3D Model Generation:Develop detailed 3D models fromPoint Cloud datafor specific plant areas, adhering strictly to the project-definedLevel of Development (LOD).
.Spatial Validation:Superimpose processed point clouds and generated 3D models over existing or Work-in-Progress (WIP) layouts to verify spatial accuracy.
.Clash Detection:Run comprehensive interference checks between proposed designs and existing site conditions usingNavisworks.
.Quality Control:Log observations, incorporate review comments, and systematically track the closure of all identified issues.
.Final Validation:Perform a final audit of the model to ensure 100% alignment with the actual site conditions captured in the scan.
Technical Requirements:
.Software Proficiency:Expert-level command ofAutodesk Revit(Modeling) andAutodesk ReCap(Point Cloud processing).
.Technical Tools:Strong working knowledge ofNavisworks Managefor clash detection and coordination.
.Experience:Proven track record in industrial or plant modeling projects using laser scan data.
.Precision:High attention to detail regarding tolerances and spatial constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
.Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
.Ability to interpret complex P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
Experience:
.Proven experience as a Scan Data,3D Modeler, BIM Modeler, civil and Industrial structural engineering.
Software proficiency:
.Autodesk Revit (Civil and Steel Structural)
.Autodesk ReCap (Scan Data)
.Autodesk Navisworks (Manage or Simulate)
.Autodesk AutoCAD, Maya.
