Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Management

• Own all day-to-day finance functions including vendor invoice accounting, GL accounting, reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, prepayments, accruals, and month-end adjustments.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes including vendor onboarding and approval workflows.
• Prepare monthly P&L for group entities (India and US) and perform detailed variance analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and reconciliations with complete documentation and audit trail.
• Manage cash flow for group entities including preparation of cash forecasts and monitoring cash requirements.
• Oversee and execute the monthly payroll process for all India employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Compliance & Audits

• Manage statutory audits and tax audits for the India entity.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other India regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory advisors and consultants to ensure timely filings and good governance practices.
• Support SOC/ICFR compliance and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and implementation of best practices.
• Support and implement NetSuite automation projects and integration of AI-driven finance tools.

Education, Qualifications & Skills

• Semi-qualified CA with 4-5 years of experience in accounting and India compliances.
• Strong understanding of Indian regulatory and tax environment (GST, TDS, ROC, payroll compliance, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Zoho Payroll, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience working in a SaaS or software-based environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail with a strong control- and process-oriented mindset
