Technical Writer

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Content Creator to contribute to our cybersecurity capability maturity model (CMM) development research project.

Responsibilities

• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various individuals and teams to understand project requirements.
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical descriptions, and documentation.
• Research, create, and maintain documentation and templates that uphold required organizational documentation.
• Develop content for alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent and cohesive communication across all platforms and usage.
• Create and update technical documents such as manuals, reports, articles, newsletters, and brochures.
• Support other technical writing such as white papers, research papers, course curriculum, and transcripts for multiple purposes.
• Review manuscripts and articles.
• Any other task as assigned.

Eligibility

• M.Tech from tier 1 colleges/universities in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in technical writing with proven skills.
• Immaculate command over written English
• Must have a penchant for technology and innovation, with some exposure in the security domain.
• Go-getter with a commitment to work on short deadlines.
• Avid reader updated with current developments and trends in the technology spacs.
• Strong with data and documentation management, with experience in several related too

Desired Eligibility

• Ph.D in computer science engineering or equivalent
• Strong Project Management skills to manage multiple short & long-term assignments/ projects simultaneous
• Experience working with senior professionals and experts in different domains.
• Research experience in Cyber Security or in related domains.

Travels

As and when required, across the country for project execution and monitoring as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams.
