Job description

Job / Position Summary

Responsibilities :

  • You are key to the successful design and implementation of BSW for AUTOSAR-based epowertrain ECUs.
  • You will be part of the AUTOSAR BSW Stream, Configuring Modules, Generating Code, Designing and Developing CDDs, integrating modules, and planning of the activities and sub-activities as per the Agile SCRUM process.
  • Reengineering of Software Code
  • Updating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and equipment; participating in educational opportunities
  • Producing specifications
  • Writing operating manuals
  • Testing the product to ensure that it operates satisfactorily
  • Developing Automotive Software in C, C++, MATLAB and other MBSE for CAN, CAN-FD and FR.
  • Functional Coding, if required.
  • Evaluating problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
  • Preparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming

Skills & Experiences :

  • Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and underlying principles
  • Software coding including design, and good implementation and debugging skills.
  • Strong working experience on BSW modules configuration and code generation including RTE and MCAL
  • Experience in designing and developing CDD components.
  • Knowledge of integrating various AUTOSAR modules from different layers.
  • Knowledge of Software architecture
  • Should have good debugging skills and should be able to perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members.
  • Handling support and feedback
  • Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and ASPICE
  • Working experience with Change Management and Software Configuration Management tools.
  • Should be able to review the activities of other team members.
  • Should be able to synergize with cross-functional teams for successful design, development, integration, and build activities.
  • Should be a good team player and should be able to work in a Global work environment.
  • Education : Bachelor or Master of Software Engineering (or similar)
