Perfios - Senior Data Scientist

Primary a Senior Data Scientist, you will :

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Communicate and present complex analytical insights and technologies effectively to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
• Drive end-to-end ML solution development from problem scoping, data preparation, and model development to production deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest research trends in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and NLP to bring innovative approaches to projects.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and evaluate new algorithms for business-critical use cases.
• Build robust evaluation pipelines for fine-tuning and deploying large-scale models, including text-only and multimodal SLMs.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed ML models in production & Competency :
• Bachelors or Masters degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees (Masters or PhD) and research experience (e.g., publications in top-tier conferences / journals).
• 3-5 years of experience in building complete ML products; from the problem analysis and data selection to their production deployment. and monitoring for progressive enhancements and drifts from business impact.
• Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in deep learning / computer vision / NLP.
• Ability to rapidly prototype and evaluate algorithms..
• Experience on working with text only and multimodel SLMs will be a big plus. This involves finetuning and building robust eval pipelines. specific to use cases.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Good programming skills is a must, especially skills relevant to building robust ML models.
• Domain experience in Fintech is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience of publishing in top-tier conferences and journals will be considered a plus.
