Position Summary :
The Sales Excellence Manager will be the agency's central strategist and storyteller, responsible for creating highly customised, persuasive sales presentations across all advertising mediums — digital, offline, and hybrid.
They will partner with the sales team to win high-value deals, proactively pitch new media opportunities to existing clients, and ensure every pitch is backed by data, insight, and creativity. The role will also focus on standardising commercial processes, exploring media management and planning tools, and building the sales team's capabilities through training and hands-on support.
Role & Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Sales Pitch Development
- Lead the creation of custom pitch decks for strategic prospects and key accounts
- Translate client briefs into compelling, insight-led narratives covering multiple advertising channels
- Integrate audience insights, category trends, and competitive intelligence into proposals
- Collaborate with design / creative teams for visually premium, brand-consistent presentations
- Create vertical-specific pitch frameworks for top-spending industries (FMCG, BFSI, Real Estate, E-commerce, Automobiles, etc.)
- Accompany sales team for critical pitch meetings, assisting in delivery and handling complex queries
2. Cross-Selling to Existing Clients
Review current client media usage and identify unexplored mediums (e.g., digital display, OTT, transit, influencer, experiential)Create "new media opportunity" pitch kits tailored to existing clients' brand objectivesUse performance data and case studies to make a strong business case for diversifying their ad mix3. Sales Collateral Creation & Standardisation
Maintain master sales decks adaptable across industries and deal sizesDevelop quick pitch kits for faster turnaround on inbound leadsCurate and regularly update case studies, campaign showcases, and testimonialsEnsure rate cards, inventory lists, and media portfolios are accurate and current4. Commercial Process Standardisation
Standardise proposal templates, pricing structures, and approval workflowsEnsure commercial documentation is clear, client-friendly, and brand-alignedImplement a central repository for all sales materials for easy team access5. Organisational & Credentials Presentations
Maintain corporate credentials, media portfolio showcases, and partner capability decksUpdate quarterly with new clients, awards, innovations, and inventory changes6. Media Planning Tools Exploration
Research and evaluate media management & planning platforms that can enhance campaign design, execution, and reportingRecommend and implement tools that improve planning accuracy and efficiencyTrain sales team on tool usage once adopted7. Sales Capability Development
