The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting month-end and year-end financial closing activities. The role involves handling invoices, payments, reconciliations, and assisting in budget preparation and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books).
- Record journal entries, expenses, receipts, and payments accurately.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor and client payments.
2. Bank & Ledger Management
Prepare and reconcile bank statements regularly.Maintain general ledgers and perform reconciliations of all accounts.Monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions.3. Invoicing & Billing
Prepare and issue sales invoices and credit / debit notes.Verify purchase invoices and ensure proper approvals.Track outstanding invoices and follow up on customer payments.4. Compliance & Taxation
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.Ensure adherence to accounting standards and government regulations.5. Reporting & Analysis
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Prepare financial summaries, expense reports, and variance analysis.Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA preferred).2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or similar).Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Interested candidates whatsapp your resume to HR @Job Type : Full-time
