Key Responsibilities :
- Production Support :
- Provide day-to-day support for Oracle PLM systems, ensuring system uptime and performance are optimal.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues in Oracle PLM, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Work closely with business teams to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions to resolve any production-related challenges.
- Ensure smooth operation of Product Data Management (PDM) , Document Management , and Bill of Materials (BOM) functionalities within the Oracle PLM system.
- Incident and Problem Management :
- Manage incident tickets raised by users, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Perform impact analysis for production issues and apply necessary patches or configurations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data issues , workflow failures , and system bugs .
- Participate in problem management to address recurring system issues and suggest preventive actions.
- Configuration and Customization Support :
- Assist in supporting PLM configurations and settings, ensuring they align with the organization's processes.
- Provide support for customizations within Oracle PLM applications, including modifications to UI , workflows , and integrations .
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle PLM integrations with other ERP modules (e.g., Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud).
- System Upgrades and Maintenance :
- Assist in Oracle PLM upgrades , patches , and system maintenance activities.
- Coordinate testing and validation of new releases or patches in collaboration with the testing team.
- Ensure that the system is up to date with the latest Oracle patches and release notes.
- User Support and Training :
- Provide support to end-users on day-to-day issues related to Oracle PLM functionalities.
- Assist in user training for PLM-related processes and functionalities.
- Create and maintain documentation , including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials for users.
- Collaboration and Communication :
- Work closely with business teams, functional analysts, and developers to identify and resolve issues in the PLM application.
- Collaborate with other IT teams for cross-functional troubleshooting (e.g., database, infrastructure, integrations).
- Provide timely updates on issue resolution status and system performance to stakeholders.
- Testing and Validation :
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing for production fixes, patches, or new features.
- Ensure new features and fixes do not impact existing functionality.
Skills and Qualifications :
Mandatory Skills :
Strong knowledge of Oracle PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) applications, including Product Data Management (PDM) , Document Management , and Bill of Materials (BOM) .Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and integrations with PLM solutions.Hands-on experience with Oracle PLM configuration and troubleshooting.Strong expertise in SQL and PL / SQL for querying and resolving data-related issues.Solid understanding of business processes related to product lifecycle management and manufacturing.Experience in incident management , troubleshooting, and resolution in a production environment.Ability to manage system upgrades , patches , and version control .Desired Skills :
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud PLM or other cloud-based PLM systems.Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Workflow .Knowledge of Java or JavaScript for customizing and scripting in Oracle PLM.Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud or other integration tools.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Skills Required
