Role Overview
As Assistant Manager – Product Growth , you will work at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer behavior . Your core mandate will be to drive adoption, engagement, and retention by identifying growth opportunities, shaping product initiatives, and executing experiments in close collaboration with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
This role is ideal for someone who is data-driven, execution-focused, and excited about product- led growth .
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Growth & Retention
Own and improve product adoption, engagement, and retention metrics across user segments.Identify drop-offs in the user journey and design growth experiments to improve activation and repeat usage.Work closely with Customer Success and Support teams to reduce churn and improve customer lifetime value.2. Product Marketing
Translate product features into clear value propositions, messaging, and go-to-market plans .Support feature launches with positioning, enablement materials, and internal training.Develop product-related content such as release notes, in-app messaging, and user education assets .3. Product Management & PRDs
Convert business, customer, and growth insights into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) .Define problem statements, success metrics, scope, and acceptance criteria for growth initiatives.Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering to ensure alignment and execution quality.4. Sprint Planning & Execution
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization for growth-related initiatives.Track sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of growth features and experiments.Coordinate with Design, Tech, and QA teams to ensure smooth releases.5. Data, Insights & Experimentation
Track and analyze key growth metrics such as activation rate, retention cohorts, feature adoption, and churn .Run A / B tests and experiments , measure impact, and iterate based on results.Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders to inform product and growth strategy.Requirements
3–6 years of experience in Product Growth, Product Marketing, or Product Management roles (SaaS / B2B preferred).Hands-on experience with product marketing, retention initiatives, and growth experimentation .Proven ability to write clear, structured PRDs and translate insights into execution.Experience participating in sprint planning and agile product development .Strong analytical skills and comfort working with product and user data.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Key Skills & Traits
