Role Description:
G P Group is looking for a full-time Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing construction projects on-site in Mumbai. The role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering design, civil engineering principles, and construction management. This is an on-site role located in Mumbai.
Responsibilities & Skills Required:
- Civil Engineering design and planning skills
- Knowledge of construction management principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with civil engineers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve complex problems and work in a dynamic environment
- In-dept understanding of construction materials, pricing and industry
- Estimate the quantity and cost of materials
- Prepare contracts and documents
- Set budgets for payment inventory needs and materials
- Track changes in plans or constructions; updates budgets
- Negotiate with contractors and sub contractors
- Prepare payments for contractors and sub contractors
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, or similar design software is a plus
- 3 years experience of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction or related field.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Or Equivalent
