Assistant Manager- Raw Material Procurement : If you love numbers, negotiations,

and stakeholders aligned—this role sits right at the heart of smart sourcing.

Responsibilities:

Collect, validate, and update raw material prices from approved manufacturers.

Maintain a centralized pricing database with periodic revisions.

Support Procurement with negotiated rate sheets and cost analysis.

Communicate price changes internally to R&D, Finance, Procurement, Planning.

Primary contact for raw material suppliers.

Align on rate revisions, MOQ, lead times, specifications.

Coordinate COA, MSDS, technical dossiers, IFRA certificates.

Track supplier responsiveness and escalate delays.

Provide updated prices for formulations and feasibility checks.

Collect samples, documents, and alternative RM options.

Coordinate with manufacturers for new ingredient launches.

Share RM price lists with Finance.

Support SCM with cost impact insights.

Ensure Procurement receives updated rate agreements.

Maintain dashboards for rate trends and comparisons.

Provide monthly summaries of RM fluctuations.

Flag materials with high price volatility.

Collect and maintain COA, MSDS, regulatory documents.

Maintain updated vendor dossiers.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience Raw Material Procurement

Understanding of cosmetic raw materials.

Strong communication and vendor management.

Negotiation and rate alignment skills.

Excel and data management proficiency.

Detail-oriented with strong coordination ability
