Senior Node.js Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our fast-paced tech team at Wits Innovation Lab. Youll be working on scalable backend systems, APls, and real-world product integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-performance backend logic and wants to grow in a collaborative, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient server-side logic using Node.js
• Build secure and scalable RESTful AP|s
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Node.js
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and microservices
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript for building scalable and type-safe Node.js applications
• Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Solid understanding of REST APis, version control (Git), and deployment pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Relocation/Travel:

• Open to relocate to Mohali after 6-8 months or

• Comfortable with monthly travel to Mohali, once a month
