CAD Technician Piping

Responsibilities

• Drafting, and 3D modelling of mine infrastructure for the mechanical discipline group which involves :
• Design / drafting of equipment and plant layouts
• 3D modeling of process piping
• Piping layouts and isometrics
• P&IDs and Process flow diagrams
• Ensuring models and drawings are in accordance with applicable standards
• Visiting client facilities at mine sites as required to validate designs
• Assist with performing conceptual, feasibility and detailed mechanical design work including equipment, and plant layouts
• Interacting with clients and being responsible for the quality of project deliverables
• Coordinating with other disciplines and other WSP groups
• Participating in WSP's Health & Safety program
• Assisting with other project work as required
