Service Delivery Manager - Publishing Services

We are seeking a self-driven and highly organized Service Delivery Manager to lead our Publishing Services team. This role ensures seamless project execution, excellent customer service, and the successful delivery of publishing services to our authors while managing and mentoring a team of publishing coordinators.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Lead and manage the Publishing Services team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee end-to-end publishing projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer expectations are met.
• Track project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and resolve cross-functional issues at the project level.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for authors and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Liaise with editorial, design, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to publishing standards.
• Drive process improvements, optimize workflows, and implement best practices for enhanced service delivery.
• Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and conduct training sessions to upskill team members.
• Ensure all projects meet industry standards and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct project evaluations, analyze performance metrics, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
• Hire & Train project managers; work with internal training team and handle refresher trainings.
• Report to senior management on project performance, team efficiency, and key service delivery metrics.

A PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS:

• 4-6 years of experience in service delivery, project management, or publishing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong team management and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A passion for working with authors and creative professionals.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and/or Tamil.
