We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance Tax team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Senior Manager- Finance (Tax) - Mumbai
We will count on you to:
- Manage Tax and Transfer Pricing Audits
- Manage all Direct, Indirect Tax and SEZ compliances and assessments
- GST Compliances (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, 9, 9C, ITC reconciliation)
- SEZ / GIFT Compliances
- Direct Tax - WHT compliances / 26AS reconciliation / Advance Tax / Income tax return
- Regional Tax compliance
- Documentation for Transfer Pricing
- Manage direct, indirect and TP assessments including appeals etc with effective documentation and paperwork.
- Tax related Payments and Provisions in books
- Support in Statutory Audit/ Half yearly financials relating to Tax part
- Reviewing GL with Tax Returns to ensure matching
- Ensure Due dates are followed
- Strong followup for data requirement
- Co-ordinations with Consultants to ensure timely compliance
- Data verification and Sanitization
What you need to have:
- Excellent data management skills
- 5+years’ experience in managing tax and transfer pricing audit, direct and indirect tax compliances, direct and indirect assessments, regulatory compliance
- Ability to challenge legacy processes, simplify and automate
- Knowledge of technology/ tools that can be leveraged for operational process and filing returns.
- Excellent in Excel
- Ability to lead and mentor team members
- Ability to influence supporting teams in a matrix team structure
- Familiarity with transfer pricing regulations and documentation
- Experience with tax audits, assessments, and dealing with tax authorities.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Income Tax Act, GST, TDS provisions, and related regulations
- Proficient in Excel and Income tax applications
- MBA/CA Inter/CA/Bcom
