This isn't your typical backend role. We're looking for a forward-thinking Software Engineer who is not only a master of Python and Django but is also passionate about leveraging the power of AI to build smarter, more efficient systems. You will be a key player in developing the core logic of our platform while also pioneering the integration of AI agents to automate complex workflows, enhance user experiences, and unlock new business capabilities.

You'll spend your days working with cutting-edge AI development tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate your workflow, and you'll collaborate with the team to design and deploy autonomous AI agents using frameworks like LangGraph and models like Gemini and Claude.

What You'll Do :

• Architect & Build : Design and develop robust, scalable APIs and microservices using Python, Django, and DRF that form the backbone of our platform.
• Embrace AI-Driven Development : Utilize AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor) as your co-pilot to write cleaner, faster, and more efficient code.
• Pioneer Agentic AI : Identify opportunities to build and deploy intelligent AI agents that can automate business processes, from menu curation to customer support.
• Develop Complex Algorithms : Craft sophisticated business logic and reusable libraries that power our core features and drive revenue.
• Master the Data Layer : Implement and optimize Django ORM based data schemas, models in PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate & Lead : Participate in technical reviews, contribute to system design, and mentor fellow engineers in coding best practices and the effective use of AI tools.
• Ensure System Reliability : Own the full lifecycle of your services, including defining monitoring, maintaining uptime SLAs, participating in on-call rotations, and creating resolution playbooks.
• Participate in calls with the US Team during US West Coast morning
