Here's what you can expect on a typical day :
- Scrums. You'll start each day working with teams to understand responsibilities, identify any issues, and communicate priorities. You'll continue to have meetings throughout the day as you create and organize your roadmap.
- Research & Requirements. You'll own the design. You'll document and prioritise product features. You're always learning and researching new industry trends to make our products better. You'll incorporate what makes sense into your product roadmap based on our clients, the market, ADP's goals, and what impact the future of tech will have on your products.
- Relationships. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You'll collaborate across multiple teams with developers, other product managers, and UX teams, to name some, to continually drive innovation and make the product the best it can be.
- Measurement. You have experience measuring product effectiveness, reporting outcomes, and driving priorities.
- Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working with UX teams on client experience journeys to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services. Best part You'll get to see those ideas come to life.
- Presentations. You'll speak to internal and external stakeholders to communicate and defend ideas while answering critical questions.
- Experience. You have 5-9 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
Primary Responsibilities
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirementsEnsure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work onPlan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the productDefine product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunitiesAssess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategyProvide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user storiesWrite definition of ready user stories and maintain groomed backlog for business stakeholder priorities and incorporate architectural changes recommended by engineering into user stories.Create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROIAbility to understand complex technical systemsDemonstrated knowledge of security concepts, architecture, and software development methodologiesLead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalitiesProvide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release / Sprint GoalsResearch and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the productFollow our competitors and the industryKeep abreast with Agile / Scrum best practices and new trendsRequired Qualification
Previous working experience as a Product Manager for 3-5 yearsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar relevant fieldIn-depth knowledge of Agile process and principlesExperience with UX / UI and wireframingPO / PM certifications are a plusOutstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsSharp analytical and problem-solving skillsCreative thinker with a visionA strong self-starter with high attention to detailAbility to balance technical knowledge with business possibility and acumenFamiliarity with enterprise software, specifically in the HCM spaceSaaS service experience or consumer products desiredExperience driving teams and management to decisions and obtaining difficult information and answers.You'll Love Working Here Because You Can
