About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our New Delhi studio. This is a pivotal role where you will oversee the management and performance of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to contractual standards. Experience in the AEC field is critical and mandatory for this role. IT project managers will not be considered for this role.
As a Project Manager at Populous, you will work closely with project leads, internal teams across the region, and external clients to drive successful outcomes. You'll combine strong organisational skills with collaborative leadership, playing a key role in maintaining quality and efficiency while supporting the growth of our New Delhi studio.
Salary Range: Between INR 20,00,000 and INR 32,00,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

What will you be engaged in
As a
Project Manager, you will:
- Plan projects, manage schedules, deadlines, and deliverables, and communicate issues to relevant teams when needed
- Oversee project scope to ensure alignment with client requirements
- Provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations while ensuring client feedback is communicated to the team
- Maintain Work in Progress reports and coordinate actions to keep projects moving forward
- Undertake report writing in conjunction with relevant leads
- Coordinate invoicing requirements, ensuring timely processing and escalation when needed
- Develop briefs to engage sub-consultants, and manage agreements, scope, and deliverables
- Onboard new projects, set timelines and deliverables, allocate resources, and manage internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to research and business development projects, including analysis, infographics, presentations, and reports
- Manage timelines and deliverables for market leads, including visual communications and design input
- Assist market leads with day-to-day operational tasks
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in project management within the AEC industry
- Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress
- Experience in report writing and invoicing processes
- Ability to develop briefs and manage sub-consultant agreements
- High-level proficiency in SharePoint, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and InDesign
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
